Applying for a student visa is a laborious and laborious process. It is naturally a good thing to get the admission notice, but if the visa is rejected, all efforts will be lost.
Every year there are a few examples of applications that cannot be allowed to go abroad due to visa rejections. Many students will therefore leave the visa application to the intermediary to take care of it.
However, due to the high price of intermediaries, not everyone can afford it. This article introduces some considerations for students applying for a student visa.
First, before applying, understand the student visa policies and visa processing procedures in the other country.
Applying for a student visa in the United Kingdom or the United States is different from applying for a student visa in Singapore, Malaysia and other countries, and the visa application process is also inconsistent.
For example, both the US and UK student visas must be signed face-to-face, while the Singapore-Malaysia student visa generally only needs to be signed.
Second, understand the documents required to apply for a student visa.
Generally speaking, to apply for a student visa, you need to fill out an application form, submit a passport, proof of bank funds, admission letter, graduation certificate, proof of English proficiency and photos, etc.
A qualified passport should have a validity period of at least one year, and leave 4-6 pages of blank pages. Students are advised to ensure that they obtain a new passport or apply for additional pages before applying for a student visa.
Third, two photos are generally required to apply for a student visa.
Different countries have different requirements for the size and background of the photo, so you should take pictures and crop according to the requirements. It is recommended that you prepare a few more photos.
First, foreign photos are more expensive than domestic ones. Second, foreign visa applications, student cards, transportation cards, and driver’s licenses are also necessary.
Fourth, figure out the fund certificate
The bank fund certificate is often the most troublesome document in a visa application. There are a few points to note when applying: first, find out the amount and length of fund certificate required by the student visa; second, confirm which documents issued by domestic banks and what kind of funds can be certified by the embassy.
For example, the British Embassy does not recognize the amount of stocks and savings insurance; in the end, if the funds are not in their own names, they need to provide identification documents recognized by the Embassy that can prove the relationship between the account holder and the account holder, such as birth certificate, account book and many more.
Fifth, if conditions permit, you can provide a travel plan or ticket reservation voucher.
However, the general embassy will advise applicants not to buy tickets before obtaining a student visa Australia. Although buying a ticket in advance can get a low price, but applicants should be aware of the risk of visa applications, so they should not try to buy tickets that are not refundable.
