The Victoria University of Manchester and UMIST, joined hands together in 2004 to form the University of Manchester to give Britain a institute of excellence and high quality.

The Victoria University was founded in 1851 while UMIST originated in the year 1824. The University of Manchester brings together this tradition of education and a modern outlook.

EGYPT

  • Thanaweya A’am + Foundation Course
  • Two year diplomas from intermediate or higher institutions are generally considered to be equivalent to BTEC national Diploma Standard
  • IELTS: 6.0 -7.5 Depending upon the course

POSTGRADUATE TAUGHT

India

  • 3 year Bachelors Degree from a reputable and recognized university: First Class Degree.

U.A.E

  • First degree of Four year duration: GPA of 3.2 out of 4.

IELTS : 6.0-7.5
EGYPT

  • Egyptian first degrees at ‘very good’ level or with a grade of 75
  • IELTS: 6.0-7.5

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MBA

IELTS : 6.5 with min 6.0 in all components
Indian Standard XII : 65% in English
Bachelors Degree or international equivalent as recognized by UK NARIC
Minimum three years post-graduation work experience.
One of the following:

  • Manchester Entry Test (MAT)
  • GMAT :600+

PhD

Three- year degree from a recognized university: First Class Degree

In addition to academic and English language requirements, a Research Proposal has to be made for admissions.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English language requirements are different with different Schools at the university. Most Schools accept 70% and above in Year 12 from certain higher secondary school examination boards.

If additional English Language is required then minimum requirement is:
