How much does the tuition for an English course cost, how much does the stay, transport, food cost?, are some of the questions you have to ask yourself to choose the country where you will learn English.
Many students choose to learn a new language at the end of high school or university, which will be very useful for their professional lives, and most of them choose English.
Let’s see what we must take into account to make a good choice. Currently there are more than 5 destinations that are quite frequented to spend a few months with English courses.
When we think of English, the first thing that comes to mind for sure is England, the United States or Canada, however there are other cheaper and reputable destinations for English courses.
Here, we leave you the main destinations to study English and some of its pros and cons:
England
It has a great reputation for its language academies, and you will need a visa to take your English course.
However when people think of England to take an English course, they think of the excellence it can have, but like all excellence you must pay a good price, and it is one of the disadvantages that England has apart from the high price you can pay for a course, life in a city like London is very expensive from transport to food.
United States
If you have thought of the USA as a destination, the first thing you should know is that you will again need a visa to study in USA, and you will not be able to have any kind of work while you study, among other things it is a fairly large country.
So, you should also choose which area, we do not recommend the Miami coast because there are many Spanish speakers and you would not take much advantage of English.
There are Affordable courses, although the United States is listed as one of the most expensive countries for students, the food is quite varied so you should not worry.
Canada
It has a tradition for teaching English language in UK, so it has good academies, it is considered one of the safest countries in the world, and you need a visa to study if it is for more than three months. A cons of Canada is the climate, it is a very cold country for people who are not used to it, and as for transport, sometimes the distances are very long and you may not get even roads.
Ireland
It is a destination that has become quite fashionable lately to take English courses, it is classified as a fairly friendly country, and that is, people are friendly and help you.
English is very similar to that of England in big cities like Dublin or Galway, and it is much cheaper than studying in England.
Australia
Australians are also characterized by being friendly, in fact it is listed as the happiest country in the world, the Australian student visa has a pro and it allows you to work 20 hours a week, there are many parks and beaches to enjoy it, it is also considered one of the most expensive countries to study.
